This is excellent. I love using Jung's quotes to scaffold your words of wisdom. Acceptance of the duality of the human experience is key. We will never achieve perfection in the human form, but we can decide which way we want to move on the continuum. I will return to this post often.
Whew Kyle! That’s a lot in a single post. It’ll take me a long time to begin to absorb even 10% of it. In all seriousness you could create a master class just on this post. I cannot fathom how you can generate a post like this. When I grow up I want to be like you. Thanks for all the effort you put into your posts for this humble subscriber.
There are dozens of nuggets of grounded (and grounding) genius in this post.
Your writing feels very Thomas Merton-esque to me. I find myself mentally underlining and highlighting and circling as I read. This is another post I’ll return to again.
She’s gotten really big in the past few years. Child psychologist who is all about raising resilient kids and delivers practical strategies on it well. I’d start with whatever your preferred learning mode is. Her book is the best parenting book I’ve read. You and your message resonate with me (and my wife when I share your posts with her) in a similar way. Refreshing blend of emotional intelligence and resilience for parents (which of course ties into all relationships).
"Training for improvement is self-care. Accepting yourself throughout the journey is self-love.
Without acceptance, a miserable life is inevitable.
There is no amount of success or love from others that will ever soothe a soul that doesn’t love itself."
Because it's so true, if you're working hard on yourself only to fill a hole of unworthiness, there will be no sating it, because it's a black hole that only wants more, more, more.

Glad I’m able to give to you what you regularly do for me.
What a kind thing to say. Thank you!
I’ve been meaning to ask you if you’re familiar with Becky Kennedy and her podcast or book “Good Inside?”
That's not a name I'm familiar with, but I'll definitely check her out. Do you recommend I start with her book or podcast?
Makes you even cooler that you don’t know her!

Really enjoyed reading your insight into these Kyle! I get much more from that than just reading the stand alone quotes!
That’s only because you’re lonely in the middle of the woods…
Haha thank you my brother. Means a lot coming from you 👊🏻
Lol! Possibly true, but if being out in the woods has taught me anything its how to pick out things of quality! 😁
Haha ❤️👊🏻
Love it! These collabs are so exciting.
I really loved this part:

Nailed it. Thanks Gen 👊🏻
Carl Jung is up there with the best, would like to read much more about him. Thanks for sharing, Kyle
Thank you brother
Love this. I am reading Catafalque right now.
If this is another course directed reading like your recent post, you must have an awesome professor
Ha, no this one is just my curiosity.
Self-directed awesomeness. Nice
