Workout of the Week: Gut Punched by God
Challenging abdominal workout focused on building mental, physical, and spiritual resilience.
Core is Key
Your core is the physical center of your body - the foundation of strength, endurance, and all physical adaptations.
Balance, stability, power transfer, back health, movement patterns, breath control, injury risk, and overall performance are directly tied to your core health.
Without a strong core, everything else suffers.
The kitchen is the primary battleground for gut maintenance. All the exercise in the world can’t offset poor diet. That being said, having your nutrition squared away won’t create a strong core. True change comes from discipline in both arenas.
Strength is derived from stress.
Physical challenge of the abdominal region creates a stimulus to benefit all forms of resilience.
When your abs hurt, all movement hurts.
Breath control is disrupted.
Maintaining rationality feels especially difficult.
Stress builds.
The spirit is tested.
Good.
This is what we want.
Can you endure despite internal chaos?
Find out what you’re made of by attacking your physical foundation.
Determine your mental, physical, and spiritual capabilities by testing your limits purposefully and systematically.
This week’s workout will do just that.
As always, modifications and pacing options are offered, making this challenge accessible to all.
Effort is all that is expected.
Self-learning through self-challenge.
Do the following workout once or twice and you’ll gather data to establish a progressive plan of action.
Start somewhere and build.
Enhance your resilience from the inside out with a challenge aimed at your core.
