What a great interview. I thought I’d lived an interesting and challenging life until I heard this interview. If I may be so bold, the kernel of what I gleaned from this interview can be summed up in two sentences that are intimately related, “be curious” and “meet interesting people”. Sure I knew that before, but listening to somebody who’s actually done it and lived it makes it more real, more palpable, and we realize more achievable, if we just open our minds and get off our (lazy) asses.
Thank you for this Kyle! Hell, I feel like going out and doing a few Burpee’s. All I need to do is sit on my lazy ass for a few minutes and let the feeling pass.
Haha thank you brother. Two solid takeaways. I hate listening to myself but love listening to John’s wisdom so I fully plan to go back and listen to this one sometime soon. He’s incredible. Go back and listen to when he was on Sam’s podcast to realize how incredible his military career was too.
Not as behind as I am on getting you the posts I owe you… haha. If you only listened to the pod, John was drinking a fat, Irish whiskey throughout the conversation while he dropped all kinds of good stories and wisdom. He’s the fucking best.
This was so much fun. We need to do it again sometime soon.
Would love to

We’re happy to have you, Mikey!
Hell yeah Mikey! First John and now you. Alright! I’ll buy the damn book

Thanks Marshall! That could be the new Golden Rule, "Be curious & meet interesting people." I would only add, ... and be cool.

Absolutely, will do!
Loved this. And yes, I'm woefully behind on your podcasts.

I didn't know I could drink on your podcast! Next time! We need to talk about Paradox though. I'd love to continue the conversation.
You can drink on anyone’s podcast. Sometimes it makes them shorter. Most often it makes them longer, but always more enjoyable.
Haha. Problem is, I think Kyle and I recorded at 9AM for mine. I mean, there’s no law against that but… 🤣
Yeah, that might be a bit early!
100%. Looking forward to it
Hahaha hell yeah
