Glad to stumble upon this today. After a lot of muscle loss with weight loss, it's time to try to build a little strength! And believe me - I'm weak! Appreciate the modifications. I'll see what I can do.

Love to hear the mindset! Many refuse to modify initially which only compromises consistency and progress. Goal is to make it feel just outside of your comfort zone, especially initially. The more you do it, the more you’ll be able to expand your comfort zone.

I'm not trying to injure myself out the gate! When I say I lost muscle, I mean my rear hurts from sitting in a desk chair an hour. I need gluten, core, balance. Gotta start somewhere!

Learned I can't edit typos lol

That should have been glutes.

Looking forward to this unique challenge. One of the main things I struggle with in fitness is finding activities that I actually find interesting/fun to do. This will definitely be something new to try!

Love it Sheridan! Looking forward to seeing what you think.

Ok, I’m fairly confident I can do these with pushups and squats. Pull ups, though?! This is going to be a fun challenge!

Kyle Shepard's avatar

Pull-ups are by far the hardest for me. Multiple push-ups in a row is also equally brutal. Wild how just a reps can smoke you when you change the pace!

Now I'll have to try. Great. I'll let you know how it goes.

I love simple plans and simple execution. And of course, I remember the old maxim that simple does not mean easy.

Haha I was thinking about you as I ran 22.5 miles this morning. A distance that is both simple and easy for you 👊🏻

At my current state of fitness and brokenness, it would be neither. But hope springs eternal.

What you and Ivan did is legendary. Beautiful to see you now applying that energy elsewhere while continuing to serve the family and the world.

What happened to the 60 sec burpee?

Fitness challenges aren’t just physical they test follow through. Showing up daily compounds more than people expect.
