Fantastic discussion gentlemen thank you. As someone with tinnitus this really covered everything from two experts. I’m recovered now but tinnitus got hold of me in 2022 and it took a lot to get through it; actually the anxiety and sleep loss that it created was far more challenging that the tinnitus itself. Three years on I still use wave music at night and I’m not sure if that’s something I should try to wean off but other than that it’s a mild annoyance which I wish I didn’t have but it’s not really a big deal. Thanks again

Thank you for the feedback Matthew! Nothing wrong with wave music at night! If it’s a calming addition to your sleep routine that helps you get down, I’m all for it! May be interesting to experiment decreasing volume progressively over time just to see if there are any noticed issues that arise. This will only help you determine if you’re good without it if/when the music isn’t available.

I have used fire crackling sounds at many times in my life either to help with tinnitus at night or just because it’s a preferred sound that takes me out of my own head when I’m settling in.

Appreciate you 👊🏻
